Suicide Prevention and Recovery Resources

In observance of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, Great Rivers Behavioral Health Administrative Services Organization provided our community with free informational presentation by our Medical Director Dr. Keith Brown entitled, “Suicide”.  Suicide is a leading cause of death especially for teens and young adults. A review of suicide data provides insight into the etiology of suicide in vulnerable populations. There is an emerging evidence base designed to help professionals identify patients at risk. This informational presentation will provide a brief overview of relevant concepts.
